Roll covers and heat shrinkable tubes
Heat Shrinkable Roll Covers of Teflon® FEP: Fluoron offers a complete line of roll covers manufactured from Teflon® HST. |
Fluoro-Stat™ - Eliminating Static: A static dissipative roll cover combining the non-stick characteristics of Teflon® with the anti-static characteristic of steel rolls. Static charges are dissipated, eliminating static bombardment that can burn holes through the cover and the sheet. Fluoro-Stat™ roll covers reduce static discharge injuries, incidents from static shock, and the potential for ignition hazards. Fluoro-Stat™ roll covers can be applied to rubber, fiberglass and steel rolls. (Patent Pending) |

Fluoro-Wear™ - Reducing Severe Wear: The most wear-resistant roll covers, formulated especially for long life on felt rolls and bowed rolls. Fluoro-Wear™ has ten times better wear than roll covers of Teflon® FEP and tough enough for felt rolls and felt stretch rolls. (*Patented.)

Roll cleaning and coating
Beimfohr Cleaning System™ - Roll Cleaning: Fluoron’s Beimfohr Cleaning System™ is the most efficient roll cleaning system; faster and cleaner than sand, soda or dry ice blasting. Eliminating build-up improves product quality and increases dryer efficiency. Increased drying efficiency reduces steam costs. |
Fluoro-Coat ™: Fluoro-Coat™ coatings can be applied after the roll is clean to eliminate future "build-up".
Fluoro-Fill™ - Resurfacing Grooved or Pitted Rolls: Fluoro-Fill™ is used to repair dryers grooved by doctor-blades or felt rolls pitted with corrosion. This new service involves first, the cleaning of the grooves and/or pits with the "Beimfohr Cleaning System" and then resurfacing the roll with "Fluoro-Fill". "Fluoro-Fill" adheres to the roll whether the pit is shallow or deep and is tough and durable.

Increasing Rope Life
Copley Rope Save™ - Increasing Rope Life: The Copley Rope Saver™ increases rope life up to 500% by eliminating groove roughness. Increasing the groove diameter makes threading easier. The liners are quickly and easily installed, restoring the dryer groove to better than new condition. In a dryer section following a coater, where build-up in the rope sheaves can cause rope wear, the great release properties of Teflon® can also be an important factor. |
